We're a family of three — two parents and a daughter — and over the past several years we've traveled to more than 65 countries across six continents. What started as a shared love of moving through the world became something we wanted to document properly: not the highlight reel, but the actual planning, the actual budgets, and the actual tradeoffs.
Most travel content either oversells a destination or buries the useful details under a wall of Instagram gloss. We try to do the opposite — write the post we wish we'd had before we booked the trip. Realistic pacing for traveling with a kid. Honest costs. What we'd do differently.
Planning trips at this scale is, frankly, a program management problem — schedules, dependencies, risk, budget — and we've leaned into that rather than away from it.
